What Is Fascia?
Kinseikyu is a gentle hands-on therapy that blends light fascia release with moxibustion to help the body realign and find postural balance (‘Kin’ means balance, ‘sei’ means posture, and ‘kyu’ means moxibustion). The body’s connective tissue (our myofascial network) acts like an adaptable web, holding everything in place while allowing movement. When tension or tightness builds in one area, it can ripple through this web, affecting other parts of the body, including organs. It’s a two-way relationship. Take, for example, knee pain that actually stems from a misaligned pelvis. If we only treat the knee, relief might be short-lived because the root of the problem hasn’t been addressed. Kinseikyu looks at the whole picture, gently working at the source of imbalance to support lasting change and deeper healing.
